Cinematic Wedding Studio (especially Andy Lau) was so great to work with! Andy is so caring, friendly, and always gave us ideas when planning for a small (restricted) wedding. He is also the most optimistic videographer we spoke to and he always made us excited for our wedding (despite planning it during a global pandemic). He would respond promptly, and always made sure to address and solve our concerns and problems (including postponing). They also offer live streaming which received positive feedback from family and friends all around the world. We had a small wedding, but are so glad that the live streaming option helped to include our family and friends overseas that couldn't make it. We were also given a wedding teaser only a day after our wedding which was such a great surprise and joy to watch! Our videos also came out so great and we are excited to watch again during our anniversaries. Thank you so much for capturing and creating videos for us to always remember our special day! Andy did an incredible job with our wedding coverage. We had our wedding during covid and most of our family and friends were unable to attend. So, we had Andy livestream the entire wedding ceremony. Due to the pandemic, my wedding got split into two parts (the ceremony took place last year and the reception took place this year) and I talked to Andy about the change. He was super flexible and was willing to do a shorter shooting for us last year and a longer shooting for us this year for a very reasonable adjustment fee. He also provided us with the teaser and final products faster than we expected!
Throughout the whole planning process, Andy was very responsive to my email, texts, and phone calls. He also had great suggestions and tips on what we should do. My whole wedding party and guests felt very comfortable working with Andy and his team! We can't wait for our video and would highly recommend Andy and his team to anyone!

Andy and his team did a great job on our wedding. It was during Covid-19 so we asked CWS to be a bit more flexible and they delivered! We also added on the Live Streaming package and it was awesome. We were looking for a romantic style for our wedding video that showcased our activities throughout the day. After researching for hours and watching tens of wedding videos, we found Cinematic Wedding Studio. When we met with Andy to discuss our vision of the video, he was right on board and assured us that he could make it happen. Andy is very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. During the week of the wedding, we met with him online to go through the wedding day to make sure everyone was familiar with the schedule. He asked us what we must have on the video so he can plan for those things. On the wedding day, he and his team provided valuable advice and suggestions for each event to ensure nothing was missed. My husband and I originally hired Andy in 2020 as we wanted an option to live stream our wedding due to the capacity limits from covid-19 and if not for covid we would have not hired a videographer. We ended up delaying our wedding until 2021 in which we no longer needed the live stream video. We could not be happier that we had Andy there on our big day, he captured so many magical moments and every little detail of our venue. Andy is very professional, covers every detail you could possibly imagine and is super creative with his shots as well as the video highlight he put together for us. We hired Andy and his team to capture our big day. I am very glad we hired them. They are very professional. Andy is extremely responsive to all my emails. Andy is very passionate about the work he does. He has filmed many weddings and you can tell he is very experienced right from our first meeting. Andy is very accommodating. He didn’t mind meeting us late at night due to our work schedule. I had prepared a 20 page detailed wedding run down. Andy read every single page prior to our meeting (a week) before the wedding. He even took notes and asked detailed questions regarding the run down! I gave Andy a list of “must shoot” and Andy remembered them all and even reminded me during the wedding to shoot the things I wanted!
They arrived early to set up their equipments. During the wedding, Andy and his teams were like ninjas. I didn’t even notice they were there video recording! They brought lightings and had at least 3 cameras set up during the cermeony and reception to capture the moment from all different angles!
What surprised me the most was that I received a wedding teaser video within 5 days after my wedding!!! I wasn’t even expecting a teaser video as it wasn’t part of the contract! I truly appreciate that!
The highlight and documentary videos... I received them from Andy within 2 months! I Andy really listened to his clients. After our wedding I emailed him with what I want and don’t want in the videos and Andy delivered as requested! I had several extra revision requests for Andy due to me being specific as to what I wanted in the videos. Andy was a great yes-Man and revised the videos according to all my wishes! My requests may seem like a quick fix, but I know deep down nothing is “quick” when it comes to video editing. I am very satisfied with Andy’s high quality work.

My wife and I were so stressed about hiring a videographer, since wedding expenses run so high and video really seemed more like a "nice to have" than a "must have". We weren't sure that hiring a dedicated videographer would be the right choice. Let me tell you how wrong we were.
Andy and his partner made our wedding not only a spectacular day, but a memory to remember. They were super focused on us - what we wanted in the film (what kind of shots) and helping us look great.
We were especially excited with the drone shots - there's nothing that can compare to having aerial birds-eye footage of us as we walk around beautiful scenery and enjoy our wedding day.

Talented and Creative
Andy is so talented. The day we recorded our "Pre-Wedding" video, it just POURED - which is not very shocking for Vancouver. The downside to this was we had planned to create our video in Deep Cove in North Vancouver due to the beautiful scenery. Andy told us that we could reschedule if we wanted to, or film in the rain. Since I got my makeup done that day, I figured, we HAVE to make this work! Luckily for us, Andy is a professional and knew just how to work with the situation. He filmed us at a coffee shop, walking on the boardwalk, standing under a huge tree and walking around in an umbrella. It was perfect! I literally watched the video over 15x when he sent it to us. Then about another 10x after that, just because.
On our big day, Andy and his team did what they do best and they caught some pretty amazing stuff. Things we obviously couldn't have all seen being the bride & groom, so it was pretty cool witnessing a bunch of "behind the scene" stuff and of course, a lot of our special moments. I cried all over again when I watched it all.

I started to consider having videography three months before my wedding and was panicking about the cost and what I envisioned. Andy was never pushy about hiring him as a videographer and talked to me about what was important to me before the wedding, the day of and what I wanted to see after the wedding. He made it easy for me to choose him as my videographer! He was open to my ideas and suggested new ideas and helped me put them all together. Andy loves technology and so he was able to provide top-notch equipment and really exceeded my expectations with his shots. On the day of the wedding, Andy and his team were professional and full of energy and really got along well with my photographer, wedding party and our family. We received a teaser video the week after our wedding - that was a pleasant surprise! Andy was also able to provide us with a wedding highlight and our documentary video within a very reasonable time! Andy and his team was beyond all of our expectations. Originally just looking for a more budget friendly videographer and photographer, Andy stepped up to the plate and made our dreams come true.
